Non-Refundable Deposit

This Non-Refundable Deposit Policy applies to all purchases made on the DecorDeluxe.club website operated by Simon Allen trading as DecorDeluxe.club (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy and our substantive Terms and Conditions

1. Deposit Requirement

To secure your purchase, a non-refundable deposit of £30 is required at the time of order placement. This deposit is necessary to hold and reserve the Goods for you and will be deducted from the total purchase price.

2. Non-Refundable Nature of the Deposit

2.1. The deposit is strictly non-refundable. This means that once the deposit is paid, it cannot be returned to you, even if you decide to cancel the order, fail to collect the item, or refuse to accept delivery.

2.2. Failure of the customer to provide accurate and complete information when requested may result in delays, additional costs, or the cancellation of your order. Any such consequences will your sole responsibility and result in retention of the non-refundable deposit.

2.3. If processing of the order has commenced during the 14-day cooling off period, we reserve the right to retain the costs of services provided up until the cancellation. This may include such costs already incurred or loss of profit suffered directly arising from your cancellation. But will generally be limited to the amount of the non-refundable deposit.

3. Deposit Forfeiture

3.1.Order Cancellation: If you choose to cancel your order, the deposit will be forfeited and will not be refunded.

3.2.Failure to Collect: If you do not collect the item or arrange for its collection within four (4) days of purchase, the deposit will be forfeited. In such cases, we reserve the right to cancel the order.

3.3. Failure to accept delivery: If you are not at home to accept delivery of the Goods or you refuse to take delivery for whatever reason, the deposit will be forfeited and will not be refunded.

4. Application of Deposit

The non-refundable deposit will be applied towards the outstanding balance of your order. The remaining balance is due as per the payment terms outlined in our Terms and Conditions.

5. Exceptions

There are no exceptions to this policy. The deposit will not be refunded under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

• Change of mind
• Failure to collect the item
• Cancellation of the order
• Dissatisfaction with the item post-purchase
• Failure to accept delivery for any reason whatsoever
• Refusal to accept delivery for any reason whatsoever

6. Acknowledgment

6.1. By placing an order and paying the deposit, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to this Non-Refundable Deposit Policy. This policy is binding and non-negotiable.

6.2. By accepting the Goods upon delivery or collection, you acknowledge that you have inspected the Goods to your satisfaction, or have had the opportunity to do so and waive any right to claim for defects that should have been discovered upon such inspection.
