How Payments Work at DecorDeluxe.club?

At DecorDeluxe.club, our payment process is designed to be simple and transparent. First, secure your furniture with a non-refundable deposit paid online. Then, depending on your chosen delivery or collection option, the remaining balance will be due either in cash on delivery/collection day or via bank transfer before your furniture is collected by a courier. This straightforward approach ensures that you know exactly what to expect at every step.

Understanding the Non-Refundable Deposit

At DecorDeluxe.club, we require a non-refundable deposit to secure your chosen furniture. This deposit serves as a commitment to your purchase, ensuring that the item is reserved exclusively for you. The deposit amount is deducted from the total balance of your order, which is due depending on your chosen delivery or collection method.

By securing your furniture with a deposit, you can be confident that it won’t be sold to another customer. This system also helps us efficiently manage our stock and operational resources, allowing us to provide a smooth and reliable shopping experience for all our customers.

If you’d like to know more about how our non-refundable deposit works, please check out our Terms and Conditions.

Why Do We Require a Non-Refundable Deposit?

Before implementing our deposit system, it wasn’t uncommon for customers to express interest in our furniture, only to never turn up to collect it. This led to genuine buyers missing out and created challenges in managing our stock. To create a fairer experience, we introduced a non-refundable deposit requirement. This deposit not only confirms your commitment but also covers the administrative costs, time, and fees associated with processing your order. It’s a system designed to ensure fairness and reliability for everyone involved.

How to Pay the Outstanding Balance

Once your order is secured with a deposit, the remaining balance must be settled depending on the delivery or collection method you selected during checkout. Here’s how it works:

1. Click and Collect:

If you’ve chosen to collect your order from our location, the remaining balance is due in cash when you come to pick up your items. Please ensure you bring the exact amount, as your furniture cannot be released until the full payment is made.

2. Local Delivery by DecorDeluxe.club:

For orders being delivered locally within the North East of England by ourselves, the outstanding balance is to be paid in cash at the time of delivery. Our delivery person will collect the payment before unloading the furniture at your specified location.

3. National Delivery via Proovia or Your Own Courier:

If you’re using Proovia or another courier service to collect your order, the remaining balance must be paid via bank transfer at least two days before the scheduled collection. You will receive an email during checkout with the bank account details for this payment. If, for any reason, you do not receive these details, please contact us through our contact page or use the contact form lower down this page. This ensures that the payment is processed, and your furniture is ready for handover when the courier arrives.

The deposit you’ve already paid will be deducted from the total amount due, and the remaining balance will reflect this adjustment. This system allows for a smooth and secure transaction, ensuring that you receive your furniture with no delays or complications.

Please note that no other forms of payment are accepted for the outstanding balance, so be prepared with the appropriate method depending on your chosen delivery or collection option.

Mini Payments and Deposits FAQs

Can I change my payment method after placing an order?

Once your order is placed, the payment method selected at checkout is typically final. However, if you need to switch from paying the remaining balance in cash to a bank transfer or vice versa, please contact us as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request, but please note that changes may not always be possible, especially if your collection or delivery date is approaching.

If you think you might need to adjust your payment method, reach out early so we can help ensure everything runs smoothly.

Can I pay the remaining balance with a credit or debit card?

Currently, the non-refundable deposit is the only payment that can be made online via credit or debit card. The remaining balance must be paid in cash upon collection or delivery. In some cases, we may allow payment via bank transfer, particularly if you are using a third-party courier service. If you have any concerns or questions about payment methods, please contact us.

How does the deposit system work when purchasing furniture from DecorDeluxe.club?

At DecorDeluxe.club, we require a non-refundable deposit of £30 to secure any item of furniture. This deposit is paid online during the checkout process via a secure payment gateway, allowing you to reserve your chosen pieces before they're sold. The remaining balance is typically paid in cash upon collection or delivery, depending on the option you select. If you're using a courier service like Proovia, the balance must be paid via bank transfer two days before the scheduled collection. This system helps manage our inventory efficiently and ensures that your selected items are held exclusively for you

Is the deposit deducted from the final balance of my order?

Yes, the £30 non-refundable deposit is deducted from the total balance of your order. The remaining balance, after the deposit has been deducted, will be due at the time of collection or delivery, depending on the payment method and service selected.

What happens if I can't pay the remaining balance on time?

If you are unable to pay the remaining balance within the specified timeframe, your order will be canceled, and the non-refundable deposit of £30 will be forfeited. For customers opting for collection or local delivery, the balance is typically due in cash upon receiving your furniture. If you're using a courier service like Proovia, the balance must be paid via bank transfer two days before the scheduled collection.

If you anticipate any issues with meeting the payment deadline, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to extend the timeframe slightly to help you complete your purchase.

What happens if I miss the payment deadline for my order?

It’s crucial that all payment deadlines are adhered to in order to avoid cancellation of your order and forfeiture of your deposit. If you foresee any issues with meeting your payment deadline, please contact us immediately. We may be able to provide a slight extension, but this is not guaranteed and is handled on a case-by-case basis.

What happens if I need more time to collect my order?

All orders must be collected within 4 days from the date of purchase to avoid cancellation and forfeiture of the deposit. However, if you find that you’re unable to collect your furniture within this timeframe, please contact us as soon as possible. We understand that situations can arise, and we may be able to extend the collection period slightly. Communication is key—reach out to us early, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

What should I do if I haven’t received my bank transfer details?

If you selected a delivery option that requires payment via bank transfer, you should have received an email with the necessary bank account details. If you haven’t received this email, please check your spam folder. If it’s not there, please contact us immediately so we can provide the information you need to complete your payment.

Why is the deposit non-refundable?

The non-refundable deposit is essential to ensure that only serious buyers reserve our furniture. In the past, without a deposit, we encountered situations where customers would express interest but not follow through with the purchase, causing genuine buyers to miss out. The deposit covers administrative costs and ensures that we can hold the item exclusively for you. For more details, please refer to our terms and conditions.
