Second hand armchair and storage cupboard, one-off pieces at DecorDeluxe.club.

The One-Offs: Armchairs, Oddities and Everything Unclassifiable

Every proper shop has a shelf that defies the signage, and this is mine. The one-offs that refuse to sit in a tidy category: armchairs and the occasional sofa, storage cupboards that aren’t quite wardrobes and aren’t quite anything else, hall stands, towel rails, plant stands, garden pieces out of season, and the genuinely unclassifiable things that make this job interesting.

Here’s why this page rewards a regular look: it’s where the surprises land. The categories with proper names are predictable, in the best way. This one isn’t. One week it’s a leather armchair with twenty good years left; the next it’s an oak cupboard that solves a corner you’d given up on. The best-furnished homes I know all have one piece with no obvious name and a story attached, and those pieces come from aisles like this.

Standards don’t relax just because the category is loose. Every piece gets the same personal inspection: frames firm, upholstery honest and photographed in real light, cupboard doors and drawers doing their jobs. One of each, priced at the usual fraction of what quality costs new.

Armchairs deserve a special mention because they’re the steadiest line here. Sit-tested, frame-checked, and gone quickly, because a good chair at second hand money is nobody’s difficult decision.

£30 deposit holds anything. Free click and collect from Houghton-le-Spring, North East delivery by me, couriers UK wide. And if you’re hunting something too odd for any category, a specific hall stand, a church pew, who knows, that’s Sorcit territory. Register the brief with my free sourcing service and I’ll email you when the improbable thing appears. It usually does, eventually.

And when you want the tidy categories again, browse by type has them all.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. First off I don't do reviews, good or bad!! But on this occasion the service was so exceptional that I feel grateful to have stumbled across this small company based in Houghton le Spring in the Nort East and run by Simon. This guy is so fair and helpful, and goes "above and beyond" to make sure his customers are satisfied with their purchase. We bought 2 secondhand wardrobes from DecorDeluxe.club which were exactly as described and arrived in perfect condition, exceptionally clean and almost as new. We live in the North West some 160 miles away but even with the additional carriage costs it was a better deal than we could get locally. It was a pleasure to deal with this company. If you're looking for seconhand, make this your first port of call.
Thank you Simon.
