This is the text to review and change: Let’s be honest — a Stressless recliner isn’t just furniture. It’s the quiet luxury of sinking into pure ergonomic calm after a long day, with your feet up and your spine finally breathing a sigh of relief. This is a vintage Ekornes Stressless armchair from the Pegasus range — yes, the same legendary Norwegian brand behind the gold standard in comfort — originally purchased from Barker and Stonehouse, and it arrives with its matching footstool in full working order. The leather is supple, the swivel base turns smoothly through a full 360 degrees, the headrest adjusts to your exact height preference, and the whole thing carries itself with that unmistakable air of considered design.
Our second hand price is £245 — a fraction of what you’d pay new for something this capable, this comfortable, and this quietly impressive. The condition? Second hand with a bit of character — minor signs of wear, still in great nick. And let’s clarify the colour: it’s a warm, earthy beige-green — think moss on sun-warmed stone — not the vivid green the photos might suggest. It’s subtle. Sophisticated. And thoroughly at home in a room that values both comfort and calm.
