I'm Simon, and one of the good parts of running DecorDeluxe.club out of Houghton-le-Spring is getting to source every piece personally, and that means I see far more timber than most people see in a year. This side table fits that hallway gap, that bedroom corner, or that sofa arm where nothing ever quite sits right. Single drawer, tapered legs, medium oak tone with the grain running clear across the top. Solid oak in the frame, veneered on the panels. It does one job well, and that job is storage you can reach without standing up.
The drawer runs on traditional dovetail joints. Those are the interlocking teeth you find at each corner, cut to hold the drawer square no matter how many times it gets pulled open. Cheaper side tables skip that step and glue the corners instead. You notice the difference inside a month. This one was built to stay tight.
The single round metal knob is modest, which suits the piece. Clean lines, slightly tapered legs, no decoration fighting for attention. It is furniture that works rather than furniture that announces itself. Drop your phone, your keys, your book in the drawer. Done.
The condition is PreLoved and in great condition, with a few honest imperfections. There is an unusual mark to the top of the table. I am not certain whether this is simply part of the natural grain and character of the wood, particularly as the pattern appears more than once, or whether it is a small imperfection that has occurred over time. Either way, for complete transparency, I like to point out anything I notice, even when it may simply be part of the natural variation within the wood.

Furniture like this, built with dovetail joints and real timber, costs several times this price bought new from retailers of this standard. My price is £75. That is storage that lasts, at the cost of two takeaways.

Only one of this table exists. At £75 for dovetail construction and real oak, it is not going to sit here for long. £30 secures it.
