This Edinburgh bedside from Oak FurnitureLand turned up and the proportions are exactly right. Two drawers, proper depth, a clean profile that works in any bedroom without shouting about it. It made the cut, and now it is here.
Oak FurnitureLand built the Edinburgh range to last, and this unit proves it. Solid oak throughout, dovetail joints holding the drawers true, tongue and groove panelling to the back and the base of each drawer. Those are details you find in furniture built to be opened, closed and relied on for years, not months. The grain runs clear through the light oak finish, and the metal drop handles have that slight antique edge that saves the piece from looking too plain.
The condition is PreLoved and in great condition, with a few honest imperfections.
Two drawers of equal size, stacked cleanly, each one deep enough to be useful. The fronts have subtly raised panels, nothing fussy, and the top carries a moulded cornice that lifts the whole piece without tipping it into decoration for its own sake. The base has a simple cut-out detail that raises the unit slightly off the floor, a small refinement that reads as care, not cost-cutting.
