This wardrobe comes apart into two sections for moving. Upper half, lower half, lift one into the van and the other follows. No dismantling twenty screws or working out which piece slots where. The Romsey range does rustic oak the right way: clean lines, recessed panels, carved handles that sit flush rather than sticking out to catch your sleeve. Medium tone, natural finish, and the grain does what oak grain does best when it is left alone to show itself.
Open the doors and you have a double hanging area. Full height, proper rail, space for coats that actually take up room rather than the summer stuff you forget about. Below that sits a wide flat-fronted drawer, dovetail jointed at the corners so it will still be running square in twenty years. The drawer base is tongue and groove solid oak. The back panel is tongue and groove solid oak. Cheaper units put hardboard there and hope you do not notice. Oak FurnitureLand did not cut that corner.
The feet are solid, slightly rounded, and they lift the whole piece clear of the skirting. The handles are carved and recessed into the doors and drawer front, part of the design rather than bolted on as an afterthought. The corners are gently rounded. Every detail that could have been done the quick way was done the considered way instead.

The right-hand side has a tiny little scratch, hardly noticeable, but for full transparency I always let every customer know of any imperfections.
