Barker and Stonehouse Stockton, for a Fraction of the Ticket
Teesside does not need introducing to Barker and Stonehouse. This is a Teesside name from way back, and half the good front rooms from Norton to Nunthorpe have something of theirs standing proud. The furniture earns the loyalty. The new prices test it.
So test this instead. DecorDeluxe.club sells inspected second-hand Barker and Stonehouse furniture, delivered across Stockton-on-Tees and Middlesbrough from Houghton-le-Spring, at up to 90% below the original retail price. Personally checked, honestly photographed, one of each. When it's gone, it's gone.
Loyalty to the Maker. Mutiny on the Price.
Nobody regrets buying Barker and Stonehouse. The hardwood is right, the designs last, the drawers still run true years in. What people regret is the bill, and the finance spread over enough months to make it feel polite.
The Teesside Retail Park showroom will happily sell you all of it new, a few doors from Oak Furniture Land. Here is the smarter route to the same badge: beds, dining tables, sideboards and wardrobes that have had one careful owner and a proper inspection since. Every mark declared. Every dimension measured. Every photograph honest, because a surprise at the front door in Ingleby Barwick helps nobody. The live second-hand Barker and Stonehouse collection is on the site now. You keep the maker. You keep most of the money.
How It Works
Getting your hands on one is simpler than the badge suggests. Browse the collection: click the Shop link in the navigation at the top of this page, or click the button at the bottom of the page that says 'View Our Furniture'. Prefer to see it in the flesh first? Arrange a viewing appointment. Sure already? Add it to your basket and head for the checkout.
The checkout settles everything at once: free Click and Collect from the base at Houghton-le-Spring, or doorstep delivery, with a date and time slot chosen from the options right there. Then the part Teesside Retail Park will never offer: pay a £30 deposit today and stop there. No finance plan, no balance hanging over you. The rest is due only when the piece actually arrives, at collection or delivery. Most furniture companies want the full amount before they'll load the van. I don't. One thing to know, and I mean it kindly: viewings and collections are strictly by pre-arranged appointment. No walk-ins. And here's why. This is a one-man operation. I'm the one inspecting the stock, driving the van, answering the phone, all of it. Turn up unannounced and there's a fair chance I'm forty miles away delivering someone else's sideboard. Book ahead, and I'm here, waiting, ready for you.
