Now here’s a sideboard that doesn’t just hold your bits and bobs — it holds a story. Crafted from solid oak, with that unmistakable heft that only real quality can deliver, this piece has already earned its stripes in someone else’s home. And now it’s ready to start a new chapter in yours.
This is one of those rare finds that manages to be both timeless and full of character. The natural grain dances under the light, and every inch of it feels like it means business. We’re talking traditional dovetail joints, tongue and groove paneling — proper old-school craftsmanship that they just don’t skimp on anymore. And yes, it’s heavy. Like, “you won’t be knocking this over by accident” heavy. Exactly the kind of reassuring weight you want in a piece that’s meant to last generations.
The upper section has three drawers with shell-shaped handles — classic, charming, and just the right amount of rustic. Below? Three cabinet doors lined up neatly, each with their own round metal knobs, opening up to reveal compartments with shelves inside. Practicality never looked so good. Even the exposed hinges feel intentional — part of the look, not just an afterthought.
And while we're being honest about everything, there is a small patch on the top where some clear glue residue remains — about the size of a few coins. It’s barely noticeable unless you’re really looking for it (which we were, because we believe in full disclosure). But that’s what makes this a PreLoved piece — not perfect, but perfectly honest.
Our PreLoved price is just £195 — a fraction of the original RRP of £1200, which, frankly, is how designer furniture should be bought. Second time around, without the second mortgage.
You’ll find it’s made by Barker & Stonehouse — a brand known for building things that don’t quit. So even though we don’t know the exact name of the range, we do know it fits right into that sweet spot between sturdy and stylish.
Let’s talk logistics — because we know it matters. When you see something you love, just add it to your basket. Then at checkout, you’ll choose between free click-and-collect or local delivery. If you go for delivery, just enter your postcode and you’ll get an instant quote. Secure your piece with a £30 deposit online and pay the rest when you collect or when we deliver — no stress, all style.
(Not based in the North East? No bother. Drop us a message before you buy and we’ll get a quote from our trusted delivery partner – wherever you are, we’ll get you sorted in style.)
So go on — be the next person to pull up a chair, open a drawer, and say, “Yep. This is mine now.” There’s only one available. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.
