Let’s be honest — a proper Welsh dresser isn’t something you stumble upon every day. Especially one built from 100% solid oak, with dovetail joints that have held firm through years of Sunday roasts and wine nights, and a presence grand enough to anchor any room without shouting over your décor. This is the Harper Solid Oak Large Dresser by Oak & More — a piece that means business, but wears its strength quietly.
It splits into two parts, so don’t panic about stairs or tight hallways. And every shelf inside? Adjustable. That’s the kind of thoughtful design that reminds you why brands like Oak & More stay relevant — they build furniture to live with, not just look at.
The upper section cradles glass-fronted cabinets either side of open shelving, perfect for your good glasses or that stack of coffee table books you actually read. Below, four spacious drawers sit between dual-door cupboards — all with tongue and groove panelling, because yes, even the unseen bits are done properly. The grain glows under a clear matte finish, warm and honest, with none of that plasticky sheen that screams “I’m trying too hard.”
And let’s talk about those recessed curved handles — sleek, subtle, and satisfying to use. No snagging jumpers here. Just smooth, soft-edged oak all the way down, with a weightiness that tells you it’s not going anywhere. Not unless you want it to, anyway.
Our PreLoved price? £295 — saving 69 % off its original RRP of £949, for a handcrafted solid oak statement piece that’s already earned its stripes. The condition? PreLoved, and looking fabulous — genuinely great, with no hidden horrors or surprise scratches. Furniture that’s lived a little, sure, but never mistreated. It’s had a life — now it’s ready for yours.
