Most living rooms have the same problem. The television goes on something, and everything else that comes with it goes nowhere. Part solid oak, part veneered, put together with traditional dovetail joints. That construction detail matters because dovetail joints lock drawers and carcasses square, and they stay that way. Cheaper units use butt joints and staples. This one was built to last. The finish is a medium oak tone, warm without shouting about it, and the grain shows through properly. Wood that looks like wood.
The layout is clever without being fussy. Open shelving on the left with two shelves. A single door on the right that opens to reveal two more shelf spaces inside, divided neatly. Cable management holes cut through the back panels, so your wires thread through cleanly rather than knotting up behind the unit. The top surface is gently rounded at the edges, and the whole thing sits on robust rectangular legs that give it proper clearance off the floor. Simple metal knob handles. Nothing flashy, everything useful.
The condition is pre-loved and looking fabulous, in genuinely great condition. No RRP on record, but furniture of this build quality and material standard costs several times this price bought new from the kind of retailer who stocks solid oak and dovetail joinery as standard. My price is £85.
