Let’s be honest — finding a double chest of drawers that ticks every box is rare. One that looks like it belongs in a boutique hotel, stores enough to survive a decade of laundry rotations, *and* comes in at less than a quarter of its original price? That’s the kind of win you tell your friends about. This beauty from Barker & Stonehouse is exactly that. Classic curves, clean white finish, and ten well-proportioned drawers — four up top, six below — so you can stash everything from bed linen to board games without breaking a sweat.
It's made from solid wood, which means it’s built to last longer than most relationships, and dressed in a smooth, matte white paint that gives it that fresh, elegant lift in any bedroom or hallway. The cabriole legs add a whisper of tradition without tipping into fussy territory, and the brushed metal handles keep things sleek and simple. Timeless? Yes. Boring? Absolutely not.
Condition: second hand with a bit of character — minor signs of wear, still in great nick. Translation: this piece has already earned its stripes. Furniture that’s lived a little just fits better.
Our second hand price is £195 — yes, really. For context, it originally retailed at £750. That’s not just smart shopping, that’s rewriting the rules of retail sanity. And because only one of these exists in our corner of the North East (and possibly beyond), you’re looking at a genuine one-off.
