This is furniture that’s lived a little — and loved every minute of it. A solid oak display unit with that rare, quiet confidence only time and good craftsmanship can bestow. Rustic country style? Absolutely. But not the kind that leans too hard on the shabby — this one’s got backbone, warmth, and proper presence. Think farmhouse kitchen meets considered living room: two glass-panelled doors opening to reveal four internal shelves (two per column), two capacious drawers below, square metal handles that catch the light just so, and clear glass panels that lift the whole thing — no heaviness here, just honest weight and real texture. The medium oak finish glows with honeyed depth, the grain telling its own unvarnished story. And yes — those dovetail joints? Real. That tongue-and-groove panelling on the back and drawer bases? Also real. This isn’t assembled — it’s made.
Height: 179 cm (70.5 in) x Width: 100 cm (39.4 in) x Depth: 36 cm (14.2 in)
Condition: pre-loved and in great condition, with a few honest imperfections. On the bottom right-hand foot there is a tiny mark, which is difficult to see — see pictures.
Our pre-loved price is £150 — less than half what you’d pay for something even remotely comparable new, and infinitely more characterful than anything mass-produced. This piece has already earned its stripes: it’s held china, displayed books, survived dinner parties and lazy Sunday mornings. It doesn’t need proving — it just needs finding.
Getting it home is simpler than deciding what to put on the shelves. You don’t need to sleep on it. A £30 deposit secures it — the rest is paid when you collect or have it delivered. There’s only one of this display unit available, and once it’s gone, it’s gone — not replaced, not restocked, just quietly missed. You found it. Now claim it. Before someone with equally good taste gets there first.
