The backrests are what you notice. Curved just enough to follow the line of your spine, upholstered in dark faux leather that has been kept properly. Not slumped, not scuffed, just four matching chairs that somebody bought well and looked after. Very sturdy, according to the notes. That sturdiness shows in the solid oak legs, pale timber against the dark seats, and in the fact that all four still sit square and level after however many dinners they have hosted.
I am Simon, and then a set like this lands. Four chairs, same condition, same finish, no odd ones out. That is rarer than it sounds. People lose one to a house move, lend one to a neighbour, let the dog claim another. Four matching survivors at this price do not hang around.
Faux leather done right looks like this. Smooth, polished, easy to wipe clean after a meal. The oak legs keep the look light rather than heavy, and that contrast between pale timber and dark upholstery gives the set a clean, modern line without tipping into showroom stiff. The curve in the backrest is there for a reason. Sit through a long dinner and you feel it doing its work.
Very sturdy chairs. Solid oak legs, straight and evenly spaced, no wobble, no creak. The kind of chair that takes the weight of a Sunday roast and a three-hour conversation without complaint.
The condition is PreLoved and looking fabulous, in genuinely great condition. All four chairs match. No splits in the upholstery, no loose joints, no scuffs worth naming. They have been used, and they look brilliant for it.
