Let’s be honest — most TV stands these days are flimsy, flat-pack affairs that look like they’ve been put together with hope and a prayer. This one? This is different. This is the kind of piece that actually makes you proud to own a telly that is not stuck on the wall. Crafted by Barker & Stonehouse from solid oak wood, it’s a large, rustic TV stand with enough character to make your living room the most interesting room in the house. You can almost hear the quiet creak of quality every time you open a drawer.
It’s built the old-school way — think traditional dovetail joints that hold strong, not just for show, and tongue and groove panelling at the back, because even the parts you can’t see were done right. That’s the thing with Barker & Stonehouse: they never cut corners, even when no one’s looking. And while we don’t know the exact range this came from, we do know it’s the kind of furniture that ages like a good story — better with time.
Condition? Pre-owned, however, in great condition. There are no marks, no wobbles, no dodgy drawer slides — just a well-loved piece that’s ready for its next chapter. This is furniture that’s lived a little, sure, but it’s done so with grace. It’s not worn out — it’s warmed in.
At 49 cm (19.3 in) tall, 134 cm (52.8 in) wide, and 44 cm (17.3 in) deep, it’s got presence without being overwhelming. Plenty of space for your tech, your soundbar, your pile of unwatched box sets — and still room to breathe. Our second-hand price? £145. That’s less than a quarter of the original RRP of £580, which means you’re not just saving money — you’re making a statement. Why pay full price for new when you can own better for less?
And getting it home couldn’t be simpler. Add it to your basket, head to checkout, and choose between free click-and-collect or local delivery. If you’re in the North East, pop in your address and you’ll get an instant quote. Secure it with a £30 deposit online — the rest is paid when you collect or we deliver. (Not based in the North East? No bother. Drop us a message before you buy and we’ll get a quote from our trusted delivery partner – wherever you are, we’ll get you sorted in style.)
You don’t need to sleep on it. A £30 deposit secures it — the rest is paid when you collect or have it delivered. There’s savvy — and then there’s already-clicked ‘Add to Basket’ savvy. This is the moment: low effort, high return, and very limited stock. One in stock. One chance. You found it. Now claim it. Before someone with equally good taste gets there first.
