Now here’s a wardrobe with more secrets than your teenage self had — and it’s finally ready to spill them. This double wardrobe is a sturdy, no-nonsense piece of furniture that means business. Crafted from solid oak wood, it’s the kind of storage solution that doesn’t flinch at hangers, doesn’t buckle under jumper weight, and won’t give up the ghost when you cram in those out-of-season coats.
Standing tall at 183 cm (72.0 in) high, with a width of 90 cm (35.4 in) and depth of 58 cm (22.8 in), it’s perfectly proportioned for a bedroom that wants to stay tidy without sacrificing on style or space. The tongue & groove paneling adds a touch of traditional craftsmanship, both to the back of the item and the base of each drawer — so even the bits you don’t see are done properly.
This wardrobe arrives in two parts — top and base — which makes things far easier if your home has those awkward corners that seem specifically designed to test your patience (and your muscle tone). And should you need even more flexibility? The top can fully come apart. No wrestling required.
Pre-owned, however, in great condition — as in, “you’d be hard-pressed to tell unless we told you” kind of condition. We didn’t say it was modest.
Our pre-owned price is £225. For something built from real oak and made to last decades longer than your average flat-pack nonsense, that’s not just a bargain — it’s an investment in better mornings and less wardrobe rage.
Still unsure? Let’s walk through how simple it is to make this yours. You can create a free account in under 60 seconds — no sneaky sign-ups, no hidden fees — just a quick way to keep things secure. Once you’re set, add the wardrobe to your basket and head to checkout.
At checkout, you’ll choose between free click-and-collect from our Houghton-le-Spring store, or local delivery across the North East. If you're going for delivery, simply enter your postcode and you’ll get an instant quote. Then pay a small deposit of £30 online to lock it down — the rest is paid later, either when you collect it or when it’s delivered to your door. (Not based in the North East? No bother. Drop us a message before you buy and we’ll get a quote from our trusted delivery partner – wherever you are, we’ll get you sorted in style.)
Look, there’s no shame in wanting quality without paying luxury prices. That’s exactly why we exist. So why wait? You don’t need to sleep on it — a £30 deposit secures it now, and the rest comes later. And remember, only one of this item is available. Once it’s gone, it’s gone — and you never know when someone else with equally good taste might come calling.
