The construction does the same. Traditional dovetail joints lock each drawer, so they stay square and slide true year after year. Tongue and groove panelling lines the back and the base of every drawer, the kind of finish you only find when a maker refuses to cut a corner. Solid oak throughout, finished in a warm medium tone that catches the light without shouting about it. The curved base feet and the panelled door fronts add just enough detail to lift the piece without fussing it.
