This Edinburgh tallboy from Oak FurnitureLand is built how wardrobes and chest units used to be built before flat-pack thinking took over. The drawer fronts are gently moulded, just enough to catch the light without fussing about it, and the handles are ornate metal with a vintage shape that feels substantial when you pull. Oak FurnitureLand build to a standard, and the Edinburgh range proves it. Solid oak throughout, not veneer over chipboard. Traditional dovetail joints hold the drawers square, and tongue and groove panelling lines the back and the base of each drawer. Those details don't shout, but they make sure this piece stays tight, stays true, and keeps doing what it's meant to do for years. They lock the corners together so the drawer can't rack or sag, and tongue and groove panelling means the back won't buckle or bow. These aren't features you photograph for the brochure. They're the reason the piece still works perfectly years down the line.
The condition is PreLoved and in great condition, with a few honest imperfections. On the right-hand side, there is a very slight crack. This is purely cosmetic and does not affect the use or functionality of the tallboy.
