Imagine a piece of furniture that carries itself with the quiet confidence of something built to last — but doesn’t come with the bank-breaking price tag. This is the French Farmhouse Rustic Solid Oak Tall Bookcase, crafted by none other than Oak Furniture Land, and now available at our second hand price of just £195. Yes, really.
Five shelves, two drawers, and a presence that says “I mean business” without being shouty about it. That’s what you’re getting here. The kind of bookcase that doesn’t just hold your books — it displays them. Curates them. Makes them look like they belong in a Parisian apartment or a sunlit country home. Made from 100% premium-grade solid oak, with tongue & groove paneling adding a dash of old-world charm, this isn't some flimsy thing that'll bow under the weight of your Penguin Classics collection. And those flared cornices? Signature design details from the French Farmhouse range, which never fails to impress.
Let’s talk dimensions: standing tall at 190 cm (74.8 in), with a width of 88 cm (34.6 in) and depth of 33 cm (13.0 in), it fits neatly into all sorts of spaces — hallway? Living room? Study? All of the above. It's also got two spacious drawers at the base, complete with dovetail joints and antiqued drop bar handles, because even the bits you don’t see are built to last.
Condition? Second hand — yes — but in great condition, meaning no wobbles, no warps, no dodgy smells. Just a sturdy, stylish bookcase that's already earned its stripes.
And if you were to buy this brand new from Oak Furniture Land, you'd be looking at an RRP of nearly £580 — not to mention a four-week wait. Why go through that when you can walk (or click) away with it today?
Now, here’s how to make it yours. Add it to your basket, then proceed to checkout. You’ve got options: free click-and-collect or local delivery across the North East, with an instant quote once you enter your address. A small deposit of £30 locks it in, and the rest you pay when it lands in your home. Not based in the North East? No bother. Drop us a message before you buy and we’ll get a quote from our trusted delivery partner – wherever you are, we’ll get you sorted in style.
This is the moment: low effort, high return, and very limited stock. You found it. Now claim it. Before someone with equally good taste gets there first.
