This is the text to review and change: Let’s talk about the elephant in the room — yes, it’s a second hand wardrobe. But not the kind that’s been propping up a student flat since 2012. This is a proper, no-nonsense, built-like-a-fortress double wardrobe from Barker & Stonehouse — a name that still makes interior lovers do a little double-tap on Instagram. Solid oak from top to toe, traditional dovetail joints that actually stay put, and tongue and groove panelling at the back because, well, why do things by halves? This one means business.
Now, about that colour — the photos aren’t doing it justice. It’s not honey oak, it’s not walnut, it’s not that slightly depressing beige that aged badly in the '90s. It’s more of a soft, warm grey-cream, the kind of shade that makes a room feel calm without being clinical. Think of it as the furniture equivalent of a well-cut linen shirt — understated, but you can tell it’s quality the second you see it.
Condition? Pre-owned, with some signs of wear, however, still in great condition — that’s straight from the notes, and we’re not going to sugarcoat it. It’s lived, sure. There might be a faint mark or two if you go full forensic, but nothing that distracts from the fact this thing is built to outlast half your family tree. Furniture that’s lived a little? Absolutely. But also furniture that still has decades of good service in it.
Measuring in at Height: 196 cm (77.2 in) x Width: 114 cm (44.9 in) x Depth: 59 cm (23.2 in), it’s got serious presence without swallowing your room whole. And at our second hand price of £235 — down from an original RRP of £950 — you’re not just saving money. You’re making a move so smart it practically whispers, “I’ve got taste and a calculator.” You save £715, which is a saving of 75%.
If you’re new to buying second hand designer furniture — no worries. It’s dead simple. Add it to your basket, head to checkout, and choose either free click-and-collect or local delivery. If you’re local to the North East, pop in your postcode and you’ll get an instant delivery quote. Then, just pay a £30 deposit online to lock it in — the rest is paid when it’s collected or delivered. Easy. Secure. No stress.
Not based in the North East? No bother. Drop us a message before you buy and we’ll get a quote from our trusted delivery partner – wherever you are, we’ll get you sorted in style.
You don’t need to sleep on it. A £30 deposit secures it — the rest is paid when you collect or have it delivered. And let’s be real: there’s savvy — and then there’s already-clicked ‘Add to Basket’ savvy. This is one of a kind. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. You found it. Now claim it. Before someone with equally good taste gets there first.
