Ah, the triple wardrobe — the unsung hero of sensible storage, especially when it’s built like it’s meant to outlive us all. This one? A proper country cottage number from Barker & Stonehouse, crafted in solid wood and still wrapped in its original rustic paint finish, like it just stepped out of a particularly well-organised farmhouse. No glossy overhauls here — just honest, unfussy charm with a side of serious heft.
Let’s talk bones, because this wardrobe’s got them. Traditional dovetail joints — the gold standard in joinery — mean it’s been built to hold its own against overpacked coat seasons and the odd rogue suitcase. Tongue and groove panelling runs along the back and drawer bases too, which isn’t just pretty (though it is), it’s functional. This is furniture that knows its job and does it without fuss.
Now, this is a PreLoved piece — and yes, it shows it. There are a few marks and minor paint chips scattered here and there, nothing major, just the kind of light wear you’d expect from a well-used but well-loved family wardrobe. Think of it as character, not compromise. The condition? Good— just not showroom shiny. And honestly, isn’t that more comforting?
At 195 cm (76.8 in) tall, 160 cm (63.0 in) wide, and 59 cm (23.2 in) deep, it’s a substantial presence without being overwhelming. Three doors mean three zones of control — ideal for splitting out seasonal wear, formal gear, or finally giving your shoe collection the dedicated wing it deserves.
Our PreLoved price? £325 — a fraction of the original £1,245 RRP, which means you’re saving 74 % off its original RRP. This is the kind of wardrobe that was made before flat-pack became a lifestyle choice.
Just a heads-up: it’s currently assembled, but will need to be taken apart for transport. Given the number of parts involved, we can’t offer national shipping on this one — local delivery only. But don’t let that put you off. After you add it to your basket, you’ll head to checkout and choose between free click-and-collect or local delivery. Pop in your North East address and you’ll get an instant quote. Secure it with a £30 deposit online, then pay the rest when it’s delivered or collected. Easy.
Not based in the North East? No bother. Drop us a message before you buy and we’ll get a quote from our trusted delivery partner – wherever you are, we’ll get you sorted in style.
You don’t need to sleep on it. A £30 deposit secures it — the rest is paid when you collect or have it delivered. And remember, there’s only one of this piece. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. This is the moment: low effort, high return, and very limited stock.
You found it. Now claim it. Before someone with equally good taste gets there first.
