Open the drawer and you will see traditional dovetail joints, the kind that hold a drawer square for decades, and tongue and groove panelling at the back of the carcass and the base of each drawer. Those are the details that separate furniture built to last from furniture built to shift. The drawer handles are vintage-style metal, understated, and they sit well with the overall look. The legs are square and straight, no fuss, just four corners doing their work.
