Let’s talk about value — the kind that doesn’t whisper, it shouts. This isn’t just a chest of drawers. It’s the Willis & Gambier Camille 8 Drawer Chest, a piece that once retailed for nearly £1,400 and now sits here, ready for its next chapter, at a fraction of the cost. Crafted from part solid oak and part veneered oak, it carries that quiet confidence only proper materials can give — no chipboard pretenders here, thank you very much.
Inspired by 18th century French design, the Camille range wraps elegance in simplicity. Soft curves, light oak tones, and a gently antiqued finish bring a sense of calm to any room. Whether your home leans traditional or you’re all about clean, modern lines, this chest slips in like it was always meant to be there. And those dovetail joints? Yes — they’re real, they’re traditional, and they’re a sign this piece was built to last more than one family’s worth of bedtime stories and morning chaos.
Condition: Pre-owned, with some signs of wear, however, still in great condition. Let’s be clear — that doesn’t mean hidden horrors. It means life has been lived, gently. This is furniture that’s earned its stripes, not one that’s been left in the rain. It’s solid. It’s steady. It’s ready.
Our second hand price? £285. For a designer piece from a respected UK brand like Willis & Gambier, that’s not just smart — it’s borderline suspicious. But no tricks here. Just honest, beautiful furniture that’s lived a little, loved a lot, and is now waiting for you to write the next part of its story.
Measurements: Height: 118 cm (46.5 in) x Width: 95 cm (37.4 in) x Depth: 48 cm (18.9 in) — generous storage without dominating the room.
