Let’s be honest — finding a designer recliner armchair that cradles your back like it was made just for you, wrapped in buttery cream leather, and priced so low it feels like a typo? That doesn’t happen. Except here. This isn’t some flimsy flat-pack special pretending to be luxury. This is proper craftsmanship, the kind that starts in Germany with Hiomlla — yes, that Hiomlla, makers of chairs whispered about in the same breath as Stressless chairs — and ends up, quite magnificently, right in your living room.
Brought into the world under the trusted name Barker & Stonehouse, this armchair means business when it comes to comfort. The superior lumbar support has your spine’s back — literally — while the smooth recline action lets you tilt into chill mode without a creak or complaint. And oh, that leather. Cream super soft leather, to be precise. It’s warm, inviting, and ages beautifully — furniture that’s lived a little, not fallen apart from it.
This piece has already earned its stripes. Condition? Second hand and in great condition, with a few honest imperfections — one of the arms has a few light marks, nothing a relaxed glance will even notice. These aren’t flaws; they’re footnotes in a story already underway. You’re just joining at the good part.
Dimensions? Think generous but not overwhelming: Height: 103 cm (40.6 in) x Width: 74 cm (29.1 in) x Depth: 76 cm (29.9 in). Perfect for sinking into after a long day, yet sleek enough to keep your space feeling airy and intentional.
Our second hand price? £275. Let that sink in. When the original RRP sat at £1,800, this isn’t just a bargain — it’s a quiet rebellion against overpaying for quality. You don’t need deep pockets, just good taste.
Want it? Here’s how easy it is. Add it to your basket, head to checkout, and choose either free click-and-collect or local delivery. Pick delivery, enter your North East postcode, and get an instant quote. Then, secure it with a £30 deposit — pay the rest when it arrives at your door or you collect it in person. Simple. Smooth. No stress. (Not based in the North East? No bother. Drop us a message before you buy and we’ll get a quote from our trusted delivery partner – wherever you are, we’ll get you sorted in style.)
You don’t need to sleep on it. A £30 deposit secures it — the rest is paid when you collect or have it delivered. There’s savvy — and then there’s already-clicked ‘Add to Basket’ savvy. And remember, only one of this beauty exists. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. Someone else with impeccable taste is probably reading this too.
This is the moment: low effort, high return, and very limited stock.
