Let’s talk about wardrobes for a moment. A wardrobe isn’t just storage - it’s the foundation of an organised, stylish bedroom. This Canterbury oak double wardrobe from Oak Furniture Land is proof that luxury doesn’t have to cost the earth. When this piece was new, the RRP was £899. Our pre-owned price? Just £245. That’s the kind of saving that’ll make you feel like you’ve won the national lottery, and not just a fiver. Pre-loved elegance has never looked so good or been so affordable.
Crafted from solid oak wood in a beautiful natural wax finish, this wardrobe is as durable as it is timeless. The bright tones of the natural oak highlight the wood grain beautifully, blending traditional elements like flared cornices and a deep pedestal base with a modern lightness. It’s hard not to fall for its classic charm. Inside, you’ll find a generous hanging space complete with a rail to keep your clothes wrinkle-free, plus a deep storage drawer underneath for all those bits and pieces you don’t want on display. The drawer is made entirely from solid oak - even the base, back, and runners - and features real dovetail joints for unbeatable strength. Traditional tongue-and-groove panelling adds a touch of craftsmanship to the back of the wardrobe and the base of the drawer. And let’s not forget the finishing touches: dark antiqued metal handles that add a dash of sophistication. Oh, and here’s the clever bit - it comes in two parts, making transport and installation a breeze, even if you’ve got narrow doorways or tight corners.
This item is pre-owned but still in great condition. There are a couple of faint scratches on the front doors - so faint, in fact, that they’re hardly noticeable. But as we believe in full transparency, we’re mentioning them here because honesty really is the best policy. Viewing this piece in person is highly recommended, so you can see just how minor these imperfections are and appreciate the overall beauty of the wardrobe.
