Let’s talk about side tables — because let’s face it, every living room deserves a pair that pulls double duty as both practical and posh. These two chunky numbers from Oak Furnitureland's Alto range are exactly that: solid oak, solid design, and yes, pre-loved — but you’d be hard-pressed to find a scratch on them worth worrying about.
Crafted with traditional dovetail joints (a detail we still get a little excited about), these tables feel like the kind of furniture that doesn’t just sit in your home — it anchors it. And while they’ve already had a life elsewhere, they’ve clearly been treated like royalty.
Now, let’s talk size. At 44 cm high and a generous 50 cm square across either way, they’re built to hold everything from your morning coffee to your latest interior design inspo book — and do it with gravitas. Chunky? Absolutely. Substantial? Without question. Style-wise, they're timeless — the kind of piece that slots effortlessly into modern or classic settings alike.
Our pre-loved price is £95 for the pair — saving 78 % off the original RRP of £440 — and trust us, you won’t find anything this well-made at that price new. This is proper furniture, not flat-pack fluff. It’s the sort of thing that gets passed down, not thrown out.
So how does it work if you're new around here? Simple. Add them to your basket, head to checkout, and choose between free click-and-collect or local delivery. If you’re local to the North East, pop in your address and get an instant delivery quote. Fancy them but not quite ready to commit fully? Just pay a £30 deposit online to lock them in — the rest comes later, when you collect or have them delivered. (Not based in the North East? No bother. Drop us a message before you buy and we’ll get a quote from our trusted delivery partner – wherever you are, we’ll get you sorted in style.)
You don’t need to sleep on it. A £30 deposit secures it — the rest is paid when you collect or have it delivered. There’s only one pair available. Once they’re gone, they’re gone — and someone else with equally good taste might just snap them up.
