That single central drawer. You see it on a table this compact and the logic snaps into place. One clean line built into the apron, no fuss, no clutter. Somewhere for napkins or cutlery that does not break the form. That is the kind of detail that earns its keep. I'm Simon, and when a piece this useful turns up at this price, I do not hesitate. Oak Furniture Land built this table to solve a problem most smaller homes know too well: you need space for dinner, but you do not have space for a permanent dining slab. The Dorset answers both. Eighty centimetres wide when closed, so it tucks into a kitchen corner or a snug dining room without dominating. Then you slide the extension out and it runs to one hundred and fifty centimetres. Four people, comfortably. Solid oak throughout, so the build is real before you read the label. Medium oak finish, warm grain showing through, nothing artificial about it. The legs are slightly angled squares, clean geometry that suits a modern room without shouting about it. Dovetail joints where the drawer meets the frame. Tongue and groove panelling at the back. Details like those separate the tables that last from the ones that warp and wobble after two years. This one was handcrafted from premium-grade oak, and it shows in the joinery and the finish. The natural character of the wood does the design work. No ornate detailing, no distractions. Just clean lines and honest construction.
This table sold new for £699.99. My pre-loved price is £195. That is £504.99 saved, 72% off a piece of solid oak furniture that will last. The condition is pre-loved and in great condition, with a few honest imperfections. There is a very small mark on one of the legs, visible in the photos, which is minor and does not detract from the overall appearance. At this price, for this quality, it is brilliant value.
Height: 77 cm (30.3 in) x Width: 80 cm (31.5 in) x Depth: 90 cm (35.4 in)
When extended, the width becomes 150 cm (59.1 in).
