Solid oak, medium natural finish, the grain doing what oak does best. Six drawers give you proper storage, and the metal knobs are simple rounds that work every time you reach for them. The moulded top edge is subtle, the plinth base has those gently curved cut-outs at the foot, and the whole thing sits balanced and unfussy in a room. Traditional style, clean lines, nothing trying too hard.
Now here is what matters. Those dovetail joints mean every drawer stays square and true through decades of opening and closing. The tongue and groove panelling to the back and the base of each drawer is what separates furniture built to last from furniture built to shift. You see those details and you know someone was paying attention in 2020-something, not 1820.
The condition is pre-loved and in great condition, with a few honest imperfections. There are a few very light marks to the top which are incredibly difficult to notice, but I make everyone aware of anything I can see, no matter how minor.
