You know that feeling when you walk into a bedroom and everything just works? That’s these bedside drawers. Not shouting, not flashy, but quietly confident — the kind of furniture that makes a room feel like it finally grew up. From Oak FurnitureLand’s Bevel range, these aren’t just pieces you plug into a corner and forget. They’re solid, intentional, and built to stay put — in both your room and your life.
Crafted from A-Grade solid oak — yes, the real deal, not veneer pretending to be something it’s not — every inch of these cabinets has been meticulously put together by proper joiners who know their stuff. Traditional dovetail joints? Check. Tongue and groove panelling on the backs and drawer bases? Also check. This is furniture that doesn’t cut corners, even where you can’t see them. And let’s talk about that bevelled face frame — a signature of the Bevel range — with its expertly mitred corners and elegantly angled feet. It’s the little details that turn good into *bloody hell, where did you get those?*
The natural wax finish enhances the grain without smothering it, so the wood still breathes, still lives. Two generous drawers glide smoothly (well, as smoothly as you’d expect from solid oak) and are topped with sleek brushed metal handles that give just enough modern contrast to keep things interesting. Clean lines, no fuss, maximum storage — perfect for stacking pyjamas, chargers, or that ever-growing collection of unread books.
And the best bit? You’re not paying the original £458 price tag. Our second-hand price is just £175 for the pair — that’s less than half, for a set that’s lived a little but still has decades of life left in it. Condition? Pre-owned, however, in great condition. No drama, no hidden stories — just two sturdy, reliable bedside companions that have already earned their stripes.
