Let’s talk about the living room — that heart of the home where life unfolds in all its glory: coffee spills, biscuit crumbs, Sunday papers, and the odd Lego ambush. What you need in the middle of it all is a coffee table that doesn’t just survive the chaos, but handles it with style. Enter the Chestnut Hill Coffee Table — a solid, slightly rustic number that’s built like it means business.
This isn’t some flimsy flat-pack situation that’ll wobble the moment you rest your feet. No — we’re talking real wood, a warm natural finish that shows off the grain, and a metal studded rim that gives it a touch of rugged charm. It’s got presence. It’s got storage — loads of it — thanks to the hinged lid that opens up to reveal a surprisingly spacious interior. Perfect for hiding away remote controls, dog leads, or that stack of unread magazines you swear you’ll get to.
And yes, it’s second hand — but let’s be clear, this isn’t about compromise. It’s about smart choices. This piece has already earned its stripes. You’re not getting someone else’s discard; you’re getting a table that’s lived a little and come out stronger for it.
Condition? Pre-owned, in great condition but does have some imperfections. As you can see from the pictures there is some cosmetic wear and tear but this just adds to the character. Structurally its all fine. In other words — it’s lived, it’s loved, and it’s ready for round two.
Measuring in at Height: 51 cm (20.1 in) x Width: 100 cm (39.4 in) x Depth: 50 cm (19.7 in), it’s a generous size — big enough to be useful, not so big it dominates. And for £50? That’s our second hand price — less than a seventh of the original £375 RRP. Honestly, that’s not just value, that’s practically a win.
If you’re after a full set, we’re also selling a matching coffee table and a pair of side table trunks — because symmetry sells, but so does storytelling.
