Let’s talk about oak — real, honest-to-goodness solid oak that doesn’t flinch at a bit of daily life. This chest of drawers isn’t some flat-pack flatliner; it’s a proper piece, built from solid oak wood with all the craftsmanship that should come with it. Think traditional dovetail joints — the kind that whisper “I’m not going anywhere” — and tongue and groove panelling on the backs and drawer bases, because even the bits you can’t see were made to last. It’s got that lovely rustic French style, the sort that makes a room feel like it’s been lived in by people who know how to do life well. If you’re already a fan of the the similar Oak Furniture Land French Farmhouse range, this range will slide right into your home — and your heart — like it was always meant to be there.
And yes — it’s pre-loved. But so is your favourite leather jacket or that cast-iron skillet you never cook without. Being pre-loved doesn’t mean worn out; it means lived in. This piece has already earned its stripes. Condition? Pre-loved, however, in great condition — no nasty surprises, no hidden dramas. Just a sturdy, beautiful chest that’s ready for its next chapter. Oh, and if you’re thinking of a matching set — I’m selling a pair of bedside drawers separately, so you can pull the whole look together without emptying your bank account.
Height: 77.5 cm (30.5 in) x Width: 95 cm (37.4 in) x Depth: 41.5 cm (16.3 in) — a generous size that makes a statement without shouting. The kind of furniture that holds not just clothes, but years. And for £175? That’s our pre-loved price — less than you’d pay for a new one from Barker & Stonehouse, and honestly, probably better made. This one’s from their range, so you know it’s got that UK-made quality, designed to outlive trends and survive teenagers.
Here’s how it works: you add it to your basket, head to checkout, and choose either free click-and-collect or local delivery. If you’re in the North East and go for delivery, just pop in your address and you’ll get an instant quote. Then, pay a £30 deposit online to lock it down — the rest is settled when it’s collected or delivered. Easy. Smooth. No stress. Not based in the North East? No bother. Drop us a message before you buy and we’ll get a quote from our trusted delivery partner – wherever you are, we’ll get you sorted in style.
You don’t need to sleep on it. A £30 deposit secures it — the rest is paid when you collect or have it delivered. There’s savvy — and then there’s already-clicked ‘Add to Basket’ savvy. And remember: only one of these exists. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. Furniture that’s lived a little doesn’t stick around for long.
